What happened to her? How did she die? Perhaps in childbirth? How did Nathan cope with the infant left behind? Surely she will be visiting their child … and the newlyweds.
And who is Harriet? Visit the Comments Tab for that answer by AwenFound … We expect to know a little more after tomorrow night when the first look at Episode 1 premieres at BFI Southbank. It’s time to seriously consider a move to London.
And then we can all come and visit you. Also, did the child die, or is he/she still alive?

She is the teenage girl who is brought to Nathan because she is supposedly possessed.
“…he cannot leave her to suffer…He believes there is always a rational or scientific explanation to be found for life’s mysteries; though Harriet’s case is disturbing, he must use every psychological technique he has to find a way to cure her, to free her from this terrible burden.”

Oh, my! You are wonderful! And how did you come upon such a detailed explanation? Can you reveal your source or are you bound by reporter confidentiality? 😀 This is why I need my mornings back !!

Yes, that’s right. I had the opportunity to interview the cast. 🙂 Oh, if only that were so.
It is on the BBC site. And then I looked up the cast list to see who plays Harriet.
